Asphalt Milling Resurfacing Process. Asphalt milling or cold planning is grinding up asphalt with a large machine and collecting asphalt that is chewed up into a dump truck or semitrailer. As streets, roads and some driveways are resurfaced they become uneven or too tall for the curb system.

Scrolls of tool holders cover the exterior of the drum and hold the carbide cutters that actually cut the pavement.

The machine's design is that of a large milling machine which, due to the narrow milling width of m to m, is capable of also milling smaller surfaces with economic efficiency. The powerful engine and intelligent engine management system ensure high productivity for milling depths of up to 320 mm.
